"I walk between worlds, bridging the realms of the seen and unseen, the analytical and the mystical."
WITH PASSION I MOVE FORWARD
For over thirty-eight years, my path has wound through the realms of spirit, a journey I've chronicled not just in my life, but in my writing. As both a Reverend and a Witch, I’ve dedicated myself to the exploration of the unseen, a quest that began with my training at the Church and School of Wicca in North Carolina under the tutelage of Gavin and Yvonne Frost. That foundation led me to become a High Priestess, a role I’ve woven into my work as an educator, sharing the wisdom I’ve gathered.
My research has been a sprawling tapestry, a deep dive into the diverse landscapes of belief. From the vibrant traditions of Hinduism, where I was honored with the name "Amba Siddhi" by a Hindu priest, to the intricate workings of Ifa, Santeria, Candomble, and Voodoo, I've sought to understand the threads that connect us all. I’ve also explored the shadowy corners of the Left Hand Path and Sanguinarianism, alongside the more familiar terrains of Islam and Judaism, and a few other esoteric practices that have piqued my writer's curiosity. This breadth of knowledge informs my work, adding layers of depth to my explorations of the human spirit.
My academic journey, too, has been a vital part of my story. At Virginia Commonwealth University, I forged my own path, creating an interdisciplinary major within the Art History department. Under the mentorship of Dr. Babtunde Lawal, a Harvard-trained scholar of African Art, I immersed myself in the study of African Art and Culture, supplementing it with coursework in Anthropology and Archaeology- where I had the utmost honor of studying under Dr Daniel Mouer- a Paragon of the field. This focus on cultural understanding is a recurring theme in my writing, a testament to the power of art and tradition to illuminate the human experience. I even nearly completed a second minor in Sculpture, a testament to my desire to create and understand the physical world as well as the spiritual.
My pursuit of knowledge didn't stop there. Graduate studies in Clinical Psychology, with a focus on severe mental disorders like Schizophrenia, led to the creation of research-based books, a testament to my dedication to understanding the complexities of the human mind. My fascination with the darker corners of human behavior then drew me to Forensic Psychology, fueled by a lifelong love of true crime—a subject that, I confess, has a certain addictive pull for a writer.
However, life has a way of rewriting our plans. Though I had been pursuing my Masters program, other priorities have taken precedence. As a single, Goddess-empowered individual, I juggle the demands of life with my writing and spiritual work. The journey to completing my Master’s is ongoing, a testament to the resilience and adaptability of a writer who understands that life, like a story, is filled with unexpected twists and turns.

Yes, it actually IS. I was asked a long time ago the meaning of life.
And it really IS 42.
Seriously.
You heard it from me, second.

When I was a kid: I watched a movie called “HELL HOUSE”. That was my first horror movie. It scared me to death.
Then of course there was this election…and I’m just so over it.

Simple logic.
Perhaps the question isn't why I haven't, but rather, why should I? Does happiness truly lie in conforming to societal expectations, or in forging one's own path, however chaotic it may be?
